“ Highly recommend, especially for dates or sharing with good friends. Lots of decent sized dishes for everyone to tuck into, all full of flavour and delicious moles, marinades and seasonings. Pretty too. Cerviche was a personal highlight but there is something for everyone. Service was impeccable; personable, with drinks tailored to our preferences. Our server offered tasters and recommendations, all with a casual charm that put us at ease, (and eased open our wallets!). A lovely evening indeed. ”
“ My partner and I ate at Zapote tonight. We ate so much and drank so much. It was truly beautiful. Rocio was our server - she was charismatic, hilarious and gave fabulous recommendations. Our favourites were the tuna and crab tostada and the iberico pork skewers. Had it not been for the fact that we wanted to try different things on the menu we would have ordered both again. Even in saying this, everything we ordered was divine. This comes as no surprise with a wonderfully cohesive menu. We especially enjoyed how blue corn was the connecting thread in all we ate. Despite it being a Mexican menu, it reminded us loosely of what we ate in San Sebastian - somewhere we often think about when reflecting on the charitable ways we have filled our bellies. ”
“ Unreal experience on my second time going to Zapote (first time was equally good but I had to double check). Best Mexican in London in my book. Every dish slapped! The skewers al Pastor are on another level. Cocktails are on point. Service is perfection. Honestly I can’t fault this place. ”
“ Zapote was amazing from start to finish. The food was delicious with the right amount of spice. The service was very attentive and friendly. We especially liked the suckling pig and red prawn ceviche. My husband and I had such a great Valentine’s dinner! ”
“ This place perfectly sits in the middle of casual and formal. You would be equally happy coming here after work or on a date. The food tastes were unique and had amazing flavours. The portions were just the right size to allow you to share and try a variety of dishes. I was in a group of 2 and had 5 dishes plus 1 dessert and it was enough for us, but if you are a big eater you probably want a couple more. The staff were really friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. The cocktails were also amazing and a must try ”
“ Brilliant food and a very pleasant atmosphere. From the second we entered the staff were wonderful, and the food and drinks were perfectly curated. The menu is expressive and the food was cooked perfectly, blending unique flavors and delightful ingredients. I recommend trying as many things on the menu as you can because each is unique and perfectly cooked. Don't miss out on this place if you're in the area, it's one of the best Mexican food experiences I've had, plus everything is gluten free or can be altered to be. ”
“ Zapote where do I start, the customer service, food and ambience really allowed for a beautiful night with my partner yesterday. Our waiter (I wish I got his name) he had lovely hair lol was super attentive and made the experience so enjoyable. The food, wow I wanted to savour every moment the ox tongue tacos, the lamb barbcoa tacos and grilled octopus were divine.I thoroughly enjoyed the whole meal, dessert was a light sweet treat which ended everything nicely, they also added two little coconut profiterole' which was lovely tasty touch. I will be returning here 10/10! ”
“ Definitely a hidden gem in London. All dishes come with surprises. Suckling pig is so far the best I found in the town. The staff is so nice and has given good advices on the food portion. ”
